The ski resort is located on the north side of AGRIOLEFKES peak at an altitude of 1200-1471 m. It was founded by the Hellenic Alpine Club of Volos. In the ski resort there are five lifts, skiing slopes of 12 km total length, three parking spaces, a shelter for 80 persons, a ski school with licensed ski trainers, ski rental with new equipment, a first aid station, a meteo station and an observatory. Various events such as night skiing and party events are organized regularly.

The vegetation in the area consists of beeches and wild boars while the view to the sea is panoramic.
